Shannon Douglas Photography
I began my career working on Amazon Creative, producing high-impact, high-traffic imagery for landing pages, Kindle, and priority product experiences. This work required operating at scale, delivering high-production visuals designed to perform across one of the most demanding digital environments.
From there, I built and led a commercial photography practice, working across campaigns, advertising, editorial, and publishing for national and international clients.
My work spans 30+ published books, national campaigns, and brand systems, combining visual storytelling with creative direction, production, and execution. This foundation in photography directly informs how I now build brand and content systems.
Scope

Approach
I approach photography as system-level storytelling, not just individual images.
Each project required:
Translating a concept, product, or story into a cohesive visual language
Maintaining consistency across hundreds of deliverables or pages
Creating imagery that balances editorial quality with real-world performance
This work sits at the intersection of: creative direction · production · and performance

Publishing Work
I contributed photography to 30+ cookbook and DIY titles, including multiple Amazon Bestsellers and award-winning work.
This work required building imagery that:
Maintains consistency across entire books and large-scale systems
Balances instructional clarity with editorial quality
Performs across print, marketing, and digital environments
I don’t just create images, I design visual systems that shape how products, stories, and brands are seen, understood, and experienced at scale.
